About PTA and Foundation

The Bridlemile Foundation and the Bridlemile Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) work to help ensure that Bridlemile is a great place to learn for all of our children. Both the Foundation and the PTA are entirely volunteer run.

The PTA actively supports educational initiatives, organizes parental involvement, and hosts fundraising activities that directly benefit the school. Similarly, the Foundation focuses on fostering relationships within our community and remains the sole source of funding for additional staff members, meeting the diverse needs of our students.

Your contributions—whether through PTA membership fees, direct donations, corporate matching, or participating in various fundraisers—enable us to allocate funds straight to the classroom. These funds go towards enriching programs, special events, guest artists, technology upgrades, field excursions, musical productions, and more. Thanks to the gracious backing from families within the Bridlemile community and local businesses, our school and its students flourish.

Should you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns about how to better our community at Bridlemile, feel free to contact any of our board members or attend an upcoming PTA meeting.

Bridlemile PTA is made up of devoted parents and caregivers that work with our amazing teachers and staff to sponsor and facilitate events, coordinate volunteer support, and raise funds for our school.

The PTA sponsors signature community events at Bridlemile, such as the fall Harvest Festival, Missoula Children Theater, and the Freaky Friday Carnival in spring. The PTA also provides all Bridlemile teachers with funds for classroom supplies, and provides other financial support for non-staff related needs at Bridlemile.

The Bridlemile Foundation is a not-for-profit dedicated to ensuring a high-quality education for all Bridlemile children. We raise money to increase staffing and bridge the gap between what public funding provides and the comprehensive educational experience all of our children deserve. In addition, 30% of what we raise goes to support other PPS schools.
